Catalina Gun Works (CGW) has established a return policy designed to assure you the best experience and to create confidence in the services and other works we provide. Our goal is to make any issue as easy as possible to resolve when needed. To better understand our commitment to serve you, please reference the appropriate return policy

FIREARM & LOWER RECEIVER TRANSFER

When you receive the firearm or lower receiver at CGW, we request that you inspect it thoroughly before completing the transfer process. This policy applies only for guns or lower receivers that are picked up from the CGW, not in house work. Returns are only eligible when the product has been used properly and is returned in its original condition.

If a firearm or lower receiver is not picked up within 14 days of arrival (aside from special request for paid extended holding services), including failed background check, not legally allowed to own, refusal to pick up, or any other reason the transfer cannot otherwise be completed, the transferral process will be canceled . Catalina Gun Works will process a cancellation and return of the product, this will include the following potential steps: a $35 return shipping fee, original shipping charges, and a 15% restocking/processing fee.

NEW GUN AND NEW LOWER RECEIVER RETURN POLICY

All new gun & new lower receiver sales are final. As a reminder, new guns are eligible for any applicable manufacturer's warranties. If you need help contacting the manufacturer, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist.

USED GUNS

CGW provides a ‘no questions asked’ return policy for used guns purchased from our inventory, this doesn't apply to transfers from other FFL dealers or online retailers. This is applicable for a period of 3 calendar business days after physical transfer. We will accept a return of the firearm regardless of reason, aside from damage due to misuse or negligent handling, for a full refund, minus any fees, a $30 return shipping fee if applicable, original shipping charges, and a 15% restocking fee.

CGW will accept the return of Used Guns with mechanical defects for a full refund, provided such return is made within 7 calendar days of physical transfer of the firearm. CGW will cover all shipping fees in the case of a mechanical defect.

After 7 calendar days, all sales are final.

AMMUNITION, MAGAZINES. OPTICS, UPPER RECEIVERS & OTHER ACCESSORIES

CGW does not accept returns on all special order ammunition, optics, magazines & all other accessories. CGW inspects all special orders before pick up to make sure there is no product damage or concern. Optics, magazines and other accessories eligible for any applicable manufacturer's warranties must go through the manufacturer. If you need help contacting the manufacturer, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist. All products sold from in house by CGW will be refunded for their full value no questions asked

ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT

Items damaged or lost due to shipping error must be handled via the shipping provider. If an item shipped by CGW is lost or damaged we will directly address the problem with the shipper and recover all lost fees and item values. CGW ships all packages at 1.5x their sale value minus shipping costs. Items that are lost or damaged when shipped from another FFL or dealer must be dealt with directly with that service provider.
